Looking Around...

....on a lazy Sunday. I have found "inspiration" from other blogs here that show some really good photos taken in the blogger's immediate surroundings. I haven't spent enough time doing that and I think the challenge of staying active with your camera is a worthwhile learning experience and improves your photography skills..so, I tried on this lazy Sunday afternoon to try to hone my skills a bit :)

I made this Quail wind vane years ago and I sometimes find it on the ground all bent..seems the hawks think it is real !

If you took a picture of the inside of that glass block window without showing the frame it would give a very cool abstract picture.

Yes that probably would be something to try...I think I could also do some post editing and remove the frame or focus on just one block and enlarge it and get some different effects..maybe I'll play with that :)
