Glacier National Park is a beautiful place with spectacular views of snow capped mountains, glaciers and glacier-formed deep valleys, rivers and many waterfalls. Our visit was in early July so the snow melt filled the rivers and created dramatic waterfalls. Daily hikes took us down forest trails and up mountainsides through lingering patches of snow, crossing the Continental Divide with amazing vistas at every turn.

Thanks Fernando.  It was an easy place to get photos, I have to admit...beauty all around.  The first photo of the Bison herd gives me another chance to remind people that they are BISON and not buffalo ! The early explorers mistakenly called them Buffalo because they thought they looked like the real buffaloes they had seen in other countries,,like water buffaloes.  The Buffalo and Bison belong to the same family, but the American Bison is a different species.  Just a bit of trivia..grinning
