Miscellaneous

I have not made use of the Manual Mode before and I am now on my 3rd DSLR camera. So, after some reading and practice using this technique, I think I may be making some progress, although it still takes me a bit to get set up and remember that I have to do all the work :) Here's a couple taken in full manual Mode....The Mountain shot is of Thimble Peak (5323 feet elevation) in the Santa Catalina Mountains on the North side of Tucson, AZ. This was taken from my backyard which is about 7 or 8 miles away from the peak. A moon shot is going to take some more practice ! My is it hard to get that Moon....best I can do so far..

Now we're having fun,,eh? :)

Thanks, Sherry.  I found a good article on Moon photography that I will be studying. I've tried sending you a link to the article, but for some reason it's not sending.  It is on the Photography  Life website under Tutorials. You can find it in their "Tutorials" section if you're interested.
