We are now getting some much needed rain ! Finally ! Just before the heavens opened up with the life-giving drops, I snapped a few pics around the property..

So the critters and humans are a bit happier now as the rains pour down...

Thanks, Jay. Living in the desert has it's pro and cons.  Mostly pros, I think, once you get used to the weather,,,the heat in June, the long periods without rain, etc..But for most of the year it's pleasant. Here where I live on the outskirts of Tucson, we and the critters get along as long as we respect each other :) We try to help out the furry and feathered ones during the intense heat months.  So, it's interesting.

Thanks, Thomas.  We have a pretty interesting array of both and now that we had some significant rains, all the trees and other plants are "happy" and filled out.  All is good ! +1
