Near where live there is one of the largest shopping malls in Europe called Bluewater. During the corona virus pandemic like most shops and food places it has been closed.
Recently Marks & Spencer food hall and Boots the Chemist have been opened with reduced hours and with Marks & Spencer more recently offering a limited range of non- food items . So, needing some food items we went to shop. The queue to get in stretched quite away, it felt like those queues you get at theme parks but with no exhilarating ride to get on once you'd reached the front .
Normally this shopping centre would be packed with people shopping and relaxing in a restaurant or watching a film at the cinema. This was a very different experience very strange and it makes me wonder how such places are going to move forward to serve customers safely in the near future, some say as early as June 2020 as the lockdown restrictions here in England hopefully get eased.
