During and after - but not before

Shortly after house-mate and I moved to east London a couch was jointly purchased. It was made-to-order, and was intended to serve as spare bed, occasional therapy couch and somewhere to sit.

but it did not quite work and for some while (especially since there is now a proper massage table as well) it had been jointly thought that shortening the legs so that it was a more normal height for sitting on would be a good idea.

I was keen to do this before Christmas - but got cold feet - mainly because of my normal inability to saw straight!

But one day this last week house-mate took control and the legs were cut off! A joint effort - but only pictures of house-mate here

and being me I forgot to take the thing before so you could see the difference!

hence the title!

I didn't know you were such a brillant handywoman!!! I imagine well how the couch should have looked before! It looks perfectly sized now! No need to buy some sort of pre-build ikea furniture, just ask beautiful Claude to come over! ;)
