hello hello my darlings ~~
Sorry it has been a little while since I have posted, life has been pretty crazy here at the Kent State University -- exams (6 of them for me!!), moving out, and the usual festivities between my friends and me. As life has been flying by, I have found myself getting very caught up in the moment and forgetting about the bigger picture.
The best advice I can give you is not to stress out about the small things. Make a list of the things you need to get done, get in a clean work zone, put your favorite essential oils in your defuser -- I suggest a mixture of lavender and eucalyptus for calming and stress reducing vibes-- and play some nice acoustic jams. Cross off the things you have finished and go to bed early *even if you don't finish the list.* Try to wake up at a good hour, eat a good breakfast, and crush what you have to do for the day. The only thing stopping you from getting these things done is the stress overwhelming your mind.
Aside from the stressful tasks of daily life, there are also some things that happen outside of our control that we need to learn to not stress out about. Speaking from experience, I find it very frustrating when something doesn't work out in your favor, but that's the way that life goes. The best thing to do is accept the situation and move on the best you can. Don't let past actions bring down your future self. Get up again and show the world that you are grounded and here to grow into your full potential *and exceed the exceptions*.
As always, do some yoga, observe the world amongst the flowers, and thank the earth for supporting you on this glorious day.
*p.s. shout out to my beautiful best friend (Sarah) for being my personal photographer *
