Thanks, Jay. It might take some getting used to for sure. But I think there are a lot of benefits to focusing this way.

Was testing this recently and I can see why it is so useful. Especially when I use my tripod and want to recompose the image while keeping my focus intact.

Separating the focus from the shutter really does help nail the focus more often...especially with active kids and using AF-C. It takes a bit to get comfortable and makes it slightly harder for other people to take pictures with your camera :-)
