Bumble Bee

Burnet moth on knapweed.

Gatekeeper butterfly. These are quite common. They can be indentified by the black circle containing two white spots on their wings.

This is the seed pod of the gorse plant. I have some pictures of the flowers here.

Waouh !!! What good photos.+1+1 I only need one Macro lens to complete my kit. I had the Canon 180mm in mind, but I wind your photos with the 100mm 2.8 L is usm, you have made the choice very difficult for me. smilesmile

My lens was very expensive (by my standards) but it produces good clear photos.
