Spring in Korea is basically flower festival season! After months of bitter cold weather, it's time to celebrate the beauty that has come to signal warmer weather. I happen to be lucky enough that my town has it's own wonderful azalea festival. For a whole week my town is filled with the bright and cheerful flower. The site where the festival actually takes place is this massive hilside covered in pinks, purples, whites, and reds, with little walking paths in between.
As you probably already know, I have been to many flower festivals this year. While I think my favorite spring flowers are the cherry blossoms, this fstival was probably one of the more exciting festivals. I didn't show it here, but there were a lot of fun activities, preformances, and food trucks. Maybe I'll make another post on that later, but for now you can just enjoy the flowers :)
