A helping hand

As a mother of three girls it is natural to worry. I worry about what they're going to get in to, how many outfit changes there will be in one day, what will they all eat for dinner that I might get to enjoy too, how many boys are going to require a scare in the teenage years, what shmuck are they going to procreate with, how old will they be when that happens, are they going to be happy…and the list is never ending.

However my youngest, my One Handed Wonder, gives me an endless supply of different things to worry about. Is she going to struggle with her development (so far, barely), is she going to get picked on in school (when her big sisters aren't around to beat anyone who dares), is she going to find everyday activities more challenging (only time will tell) and so many more.

What I must remember is if we manage to teach her confidence and self acceptence than hopefully she will be strong enough to overcome anything. And if not, I'll always offer a helping hand.

My hand is yours
