I joined a photowalk session for shooting model last weekend.

Here are some of the pictures I took. Enjoy!

Great work. A photowalk with a model sounds like a lot of fun.

HI Ben, it was a group of 10 fellow photographers with one model. I would say 6-7 people is better. But this was my first time joined this kind of photowalk. Indeed, it has some fun and you get to know other photographers (or hobbyists).

Yes, that sounds really good. Are you based in Tokyo?

No, I'm actually based in Taipei. I took the previous photo while I was travelling in Japan in September.

I see! I love both Tokyo and Taipei. I'll be in Tokyo in early January so I'd like to join a photowalk. How can I find out about them?

Sorry, I think I confused you a little bit. Allow me to explain again, this photowalk photo was taken in Taipei. And what I said above about traveling in Japan was for my first blog post which is the photo of Tokyo station.
Btw, I think to join this type of photowalk in Japan, you need someone familiar with Japanese photography community and bring you together. Because they usually arrange the event in the forum or some sort of internet group.
The photowalk I joined in Taipei, was hosted by other photographer who knows the model. Then he create an event in the Facebook group, people need to pay a little bit of money for this event. The more people join, the less each one should pay. The money goes to the model and the host. (not sure how they split) It is usually 3 hours shooting and 3 outfits.
Hope you have fun in Japan.

Aha, I see. I was a little confused. Ok then, I'll do some searching online for Tokyo photowalks. Tokyo or Taipei... it doesn't matter, I'll look forward to seeing more of your work!
