Visit with Mom: Day 72

After searching relentlessly and thinking over the pros and cons of a variety of kitchen tables, my Mom finally bought herself one. She even went so far as to have a glass top made to protect it. You have to understand, she is not one for spontaneous or impulsive purchases. Unfortunately, I did not inherit this trait from her.

When taking photos of her new pride and joy, I came across a piece of china that belonged to my late grandmother - “mimi.”
I loved it's delicate look and included in today's photographs.

Have a wonderful week!

What a beautiful piece of china!!! :) Gorgeous. My mum has a little collection of china cups - perhaps I should photograph them one day :D
Really nice choice on the table too - does she have a small space to work with? (as oldbabe has noted, looks like bar stools and a higher table).

Oh, love the china! I'm surprised mom chose what looks like a tall table and stools. She must be fit enough to get up and down from those, huh !! Good for her!

      Love the table centerpiece too!

I really like the table, especially the glass top. I'm partial to that sort of thing too. ;)

The teacups remind me of the collection my mother has inherited from her mother and grandmother also.

Love the natural light in the first shot (I'm such a fan of natural light vs flash)...the new table seems to suit her kitchen :-)
I love old-fashioned teacups, they hold so much charm.
