We were told to hold visitors for a day or two, but once the kids got the okay, they showed up! I am glad that Andrew has a lot of supportive friends.

Mom

At one point there were about twelve people in Andrew's little hospital room.

I like that the guys showed up in their football jerseys.

Some of the freshman players paid Andrew a visit. They told me that they really appreciated the way Andrew treated them, unlike the way some of the upper classman do.

The linemen looking out for Andrew.

Andrew's sister, Amber, and his girlfriend, Callie.

Coach Broom

A couple of friends who stopped by after their shift at Zaxby's.

Feeling much better. He was proud of his respiratory exercises.

It is totally amazing how he came through this. I know how scary it is and I am so glad that he is doing well. It is outstanding how many friends came to see him. Good luck

The amount of people (friends) coming to see Andrew shows how much he is loved by others, a testament to being brought up well. :)

good to see he's doing better and getting so much support...i know all about respiratory exercises...no fun, but I guess a young athlete would take to them better than I did
