Visit Pokhara

Today I wake up at 6am without alarm, for the one who know me they know it's pretty unusual.

I don't know why, I open the curtain and saw a huge mountain pick (Machapuchare) with snow in front of me, I had my mouth open for 5 seconds and could not move, then I ran for my camera and took some picture, it's amazing the feeling when you see one of those majestic pick for the first time, then it disapear in the fog……that's why we forgot the paragliding for today.

We decided to go to see the Devi's Fall and continue with climbing to the World Peace Pagoda, following the lonely planet they explain different road and we choose the long one only by foot(~2h)….but we realize later that it was 2h from the bottom of the mountain to reach the pagoda, we had to walk 2h to reach the Devi's fall and the bottom of the mountain.
This mean at least a 4h walk to go up….then we have to go down again…..
Ok it was 11h and I nearly die because it was to hot
I don't think it was the less oxygen, we where at around 1100m.
When we finally reach the top, completly wet and breathless we saw some indian and nepali couple arrive fresh as the morning dew, we ask them how could they not sweat……..“oh we climb with the motorbike…” o_O ok
The view from the pagoda is superbe, you can see the Pokhara valley and the lake.
we stay for a while near the pagoda and start to climb down on the other side (where is the boat service), it took us about 30 min. Then at least 1h30 to get back to the hotel.
When we reach the hotel, it starts raining, lucky us ^_^

Tonight it starts raining in the middle of the lunch and didi'nt stop. This mean we will maybe no go to paragliding tomorrow.

We had a mix of vegetable with Dal and a tandoori chicken.

Devi's falls, named like that because of a swiss traveler named David who fell down in the fall with his fiancé, dixit Lonely Planet.
