Beantown Snapshots

Last weekend was a really beautiful long weekend & I had some time to go explore a little bit. I've only started, so there will be lots more to photograph & discover!

Started off with a little bit of Boston Public Garden, Boston Common, Copley Square & Newbury Street. And I have to say, I really like it here. I love the mix of the old & new, walking along Charles River & just the feel of the city in general. I just wish that I my company would open an office closer to the city so that I don't have to drive everyday. But no such luck;0(

Super soggy today, so spent the day inside catching up with mail & stuff. Hopefully it will be dry tomorrow for some more adventures;0)

Found this around the corner from where I live & just love it for no particular reason;0)

Boston Common

Professor World Band…aka Ramblin' Dan. Check out his blog here -> [LINK [professor-world-band.blogspot.com]]

Pretty cool dood…I love his sign!

Trinity Church. It is incredibly lovely in here - once inside, it feels like a world away from loud & brash America.

Old South Church

Boston Public Library was closed for the long weekend. So I must return! Being a bookworm, I adore libraries & this is supposed to be one of the most beautiful. I love the sculptures at the entrance. This one represents Art…

…and this one represents Science

Newbury Street…ultra chic & super lovely dresses!

33,000 flags were planted in Boston Common to represent Massachusetts service members who died in duty from the Civil War to present day

Beacon Street

Something to think about…

I always enjoy your photos but I especially like #4, 6, 8, 21, 22. The one with the flags (miniture effect) is really cool.
