Morning Hike at Coronel Hill

A few weeks ago a friend and my self, went for a morning excersice. We went to Cerro el Coronel located on the road between Rosarito and Ensenada, Baja California, México. The Hill is 700 meters high, it takes around 4 hours up and down, the hike starts far from the hill skirts. It is a medium low exercise, kind of hard on the way down because of the terrain and inclination it requires a lot of knee cushioning.

Exellent choice near the city to explore nature, appreciate the local flora and admire a beautiful view, if it is clear, of the Mexican Pacific Ocean, near by islands and San Diego California Beach on the other side of the border.

These shots of the first minutes of the hike up hill encountering the mesmerizing spectacle of the morning fog hiding the road, hope you enjoy them as I do.
