Fort Parker State Park

Slacking in posting

I managed to get a chance to visit Fort Parker state park, TX. It's about 1 and 45 min drive from me. I think I would come back during cooler temperatures it was a really neat park.

They recently have recovered from flood damage. I got the best spot I think on #40.

I'm noticing on camping sites the beginning and ending sites (kinda like a corner) are turning out to be better options with more room and more privacy.

I solo camped and at first I was having a hard time ended up back in my car then back in my tent around 4ish and slept the rest of the morning till 9.

I love waking up to the sun shining in my tent. It's a great feeling.

I think though that I am done for a while, the heat is back and am tired of the tent I'm ready for RV life.

Love the dragonfly, magnificent capture. The macros of the plants and lizard are good but maybe a macro lens might be next on your shopping list, oh no more exspense. Thanks for walking me around Fort Parker state park I enjoyed it.
