“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.”
Edgar Degas

by Pink Taylor

And now I play the opposite role
Read from the opposite script
You read the lines that once were mine
And I'll read his.

How did I become this part
The liar, sneaker,
The one who loves less
And you became who I was once
The one who
Accepted second best.

I couldn't stand the way he was,
But loved him still
You cannot help the things you do,
The way you feel

How do I go on this way
Practicing these lines.
I look into these empty eyes
And see him inside

Recite with me these endless lines
Play the timeless role
We play these all too familiar parts
In our own love show.

Amazing. It is impossible to see everything there is to see in the photo. The words can be devastatingly true and painful.

I saw yesterday in an exibition one photo similar to this one, same style for... 1700 Euro!
If we are famous we can sell them for good money...
      Very good job!

When listening to the music while watching your picture, the image seems to come to life... Wow!! Love the quote by Degas.

Powerful words...some that still linger in my mind after having read them, but those I will keep to myself...:)) I read somewhere that a photo should evoke 1000 interpretations, and hundreds of emotions....for me, this photo exudes transformation (the colour green) hopes and possibilities as well...beautiful post here!!

Degas avait raison... photo et texte comme d'habitude splendides pour une réflexion. Merci Antonio

      Reciting these endless lines.
      Playing the timless role.
      Realizing being constantly in rehearsal.
I admire your art for its beauty and message.
      Great MIND!
