PLASTIC FLOWERS DON'T NEED WATER

Plastic Flowers Smile Forever

Paper flowers will be torn
Or soaked in sweet rain
They will fall.

Cloth flowers will droop
Stains will become them
Beauty masked.

True flowers will die
They cannot last forever
Someone will forget
To water them and they
Will be lost.

But plastic flowers smile forever
Through wind and snow and rain
And blistering shine they will smile
With teeth pearly white
Their beauty fake but existent.

Paper flowers will be torn
Cloth flowers will droop
True flowers will die
But plastic flowers smile forever
With horrid beauty overwhelming.

Je déteste les fleurs en plastique mais j'avoue que celles-ci me plaisent énormément :)

Il est vrai qu'avec du plastique, l'on peut faire de très belles fleurs.
Comme d'habitude, une belle interprétation sur ce sujet !

En parlant de fleur, demain je posterai L'hellébores, l'une des première fleur de l'année, si ce n'est la première.
Bonne continuation.

Sorry the real thing or nothing for me, I like the flowers where they belong in the gardens.

Well, I know how I feel - nothing worse than plastic flowers adorning a grave - they fade and look totally whacked!
But - I do like your image!
