Buses make up a large part of Dubai's public transport system, and will take you to places the metro (and new trams) can't reach, like Jumeirah beach. You will recognize the bus stops by their space age design - they are air conditioned metal boxes. Unfortunately, if the air conditioning isn't working, the interior of the metal box becomes a furnace of superheated air even on a mild winter's day.
