Mountains

a poem by Tegan

The mountains are never lonely

as they are kissed by lilac clouds.

Painted by a setting sun,

spectators of beauty,

a part of beauty themselves.

Free of responsibility, or any need to call

on why the sun rises and then falls;

the mountains live a perfect life

a life of no troubles.

The images with water are breathtaking in such a dry landscape. I love #2 and #5 in particular!

Beautiful series, Antonio. You really make me want to travel to this part of the world.
Out of all the landscape elements, mountains move me the most. Thanks for the wonderful sceneries!

Hahhahahahaaaa.a.a.a.....I know what you mean....That's why I feel better at sea level, I'd guess.....
Love the Steve Earle & the Del McCoury band........I listen to the Bluegrass Channel on my car's SiriusXM radio. I guess being born in the hills of West Virginia, among the coal mines & moonshine stills, means I'll always be a "Hillbilly" @ heart.......which is just fine with me!!!
