We were wandering around Bishkek when we saw scores of well-dressed people entering into a theater, and one of our "shameless" traveler friends asked what was all the fuss about. The doormen told us it was a tribute to a renowned Kyrgyz movie director called Bolot Shamshiev, and then this same friend told them we were from Portugal and that one of us was a popular movie critic and unexpectedly they invited us in. So we ended very poorly dressed and with our backpacks inside a place full of famous Kyrgyz people. Only in this country.
