Light And Darkness

a poem by Esther Leclerc

houses house bodies

bodies house life

life houses souls

souls house light

light shrinks from darkness

darkness douses light...

yet Light overcomes darkness

with spiritual sight

...in the beginning was darkness

darkness again at the end

awaiting those who despise Light - -

Light's gift of love for all men

yes, Light overcomes darkness

with love's perfect sight

OMG. I am very glad to be greeted this morning by your wonderful photographs. Although I am not a 'believer ' ie not a Christian, your first photos is very soothing to eyes and meaningful.
The 2nd photograph is fantastic as well.  Thank you for sharing.
BTW, do you travel for photography or do you make time to take pictures during business trips?

Now, I've blushed. blush I only travel to see new cultures, new landscapes, same people (because we are all the same) in a different environment and to take pictures, of course. Thank you so much my dear friend

#1 is the one I keep coming back to and finding more and more in but at the same time I love the rest of the shots. The light is quite striking .

It worked almost like the light from a projector, only it was natural light. Thanks Russel

Great shots from this breathtaking "light series".
I like #3 most, because the reflexion is telling an unusal story wink

I felt good inside this silent and spiritual church, although I'm not a religious person.
