♫♫ SAGA 1992 - "Careful Where You Step"♫♫

The Frozen Bird

A little bird was flying south for the Winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and shit on him.

As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.

A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Morals of the story:

(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.

(2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.

(3) And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

The advertisement line could be something like this: "So good we even take them to Heaven" smile

#3 & #4 - *giggle* every step is a very careful placed one! I bet, the "eau de cow" was intense afterwards.
#7 - libation instead of wax offerings (today it's called candle ...) are not so unusual but something like that is even new for me!
I love this pictures!

Not much to do when there isn't a single void space to choose on the floor. smile Just keep going on. I know it's usual to place offerings on graves, but it was the first time I saw this kind of offerings.
Thanks dear Sigrid

#1 invites me in!

#4 Oh the cows! I love their scruffy winter coats.

#5 Those mountains...oh those mountains...

#6 Makes me want to stay. The different details going on in that shot are mesmerizing. The woodwork on the balcony, the stones, the stonework around the windows, the large chimney and the details at the top, the cattle, the back pastures, the slope that begs you to go explore, and the captivating mountain looking down on it all! Just wow!

Thank you so much Manisha. There were a lot of graves who had such offerings. I've researched a bit but i couldn't find their specific purpose

Maybe a way to get 'rest in peace' blessings from the visitors. (Placed by-- Of course relatives😋)

 It is nice anyway. 😊
