Sparrow

a poem by George O'Neil

O bird on the wire

What is the world to you?

No vast place of unseen pressing things

Designed by hidden gods;

Just light, and warmth,

And air to beat your wings upon!

And that wet green bough

Sparkling in the sun,

Where you are fluttering -

Is that your heaven?

Magnificent forms
shimmers of warmth
but what is that thing,
flying by those buildings
far from the norms?

#3 - please, tell us, was on the left? Must have been something important to look at during lunch and more important than "breeding" a backpack on/between the feet like an gigantic egg! joy
#4 - Eiffel tower is like an pointing finger to 9XL - I didn't even know, that there is something tent like to wear.

Very well asked, what's in the left more important than lunch? smile

Beats me. This picture was taken some months ago and I don't have a clue of what was on the left. smile

Now imagine to be a witness in a TV-show, who is asked by the police:
"Did you see  - a Monday, 12 years ago - a stranger with a bag on his feet?"
"Yes!"
"Was he looking at something specific?"
YES, INDEED! He was looking at the food in the left hand of the other man. The man was sitting at his right side. He had this intense look in his face and was looking on this piece of bread. Yes I remind it, could have been half an hour ago!
joy You maybe a poor witness, but a good undercover agent from the Antarctic! joy

Love #3, how many times I sat like that. Lunch on the go, and up again to take some more pics.

I’m glad I’m able to “visit” places like this through your lens. I’ve told you before but I really like the architecture there... and the bird along with the water, fantastic!
