lego words

a poem by Gilly Howell

So a poet you want to be

playing with words

like a child with lego

at his mothers knee

using the bricks to build something new

like words to express how your feeling blue

or red for a wall or if your happy instead

the wall will be strong

and the words well read

so you can create an image for all to see

one will be solid

and seen through the eyes

the other a picture still

yet built in the mind

Mercury's affair
a dragon's lair;
Giant lego's glare
on a day so fair;
Love's in the air!

I never did have a Lego set...... sniff....sniff........ Maybe that's what's lacking in my personality development.......
Great camera work! I didn't realize they were invented in Denmark and that they have been around for that long time!
The dragon is amazing & the last frame was jaw-droppingly  wonderful!

Thanks Jay. I remember playing with Legos when I was younger (meaning many many years ago smile) and now I offer them to my nephews. Thanks for the compliment my friend

Antonio, it may not be the "full package", but its a hell of a package. Have you used Impressions, a lot, I understand its a good plugin.

I use almost all of them, it depends on the picture I'm editing. I like them all. This is a very good editing program and easy to use.

I can't tell you how many big boxes I still have laying around from when the kids were younger. Just can't seem to be able to part from them. They truly are one of the best toys ever invented.

And they keep going even in this era of electronic gadgets.

I really like Legos, except when you step on them on your way to the kitchen for a snack in the middle of the night... I had no idea they were invented in Denmark!
