The Pilgrim

By John Bunyan

Who would true Valour see

Let him come hither;

One here will Constant be,

Come Wind, come Weather.

There's no Discouragement,

Shall make him once Relent,

His first avow'd Intent,

To be a Pilgrim.

Who so beset him round,

With dismal Storys,

Do but themselves Confound;

His Strength the more is.

No Lyon can him fright,

He'l with a Gyant Fight,

But he will have a right,

To be a Pilgrim.

Hobgoblin, nor foul Fiend,

Can daunt his Spirit:

He knows, he at the end,

Shall Life Inherit.

Then Fancies fly away,

He'l fear not what men say,

He'l labour Night and Day,

To be a Pilgrim.

Thank you so much for your concern my friend. I visited Sri Lanka in March,  fortunately. It's really very sad.

Are you still there?  And are you okay?  Thought of you and your wife with the bombings over there.  Very sad.

Thank you so much for your concern my friend. I was there in March,  fortunately. It's really very sad. And I visited one of those churches in Negombo where people gathered to pray and to be with one another. I'm traveling now and that's why I'm not publishing any pictures

Further on we came across some steps much steeper and much more difficult, as you will see. Thanks dear friend

You got some good captures here. I like #1 the most, simple and clean.

Thanks my friend. Sometimes I have to edit my pictures more than I wanted because almost all the pictures were taken under a very bright sun, and during a travel like this I cannot choose to take pictures only in the golden hour or blue hour, for instance.

Today's series are absolutely fantastic, both the colored ones and the B&W.  #4 the edit is perfect, really makes him stand out and be modern. The steep steps are scary and yet the number of people that go up and those steps on a daily basis don't seem to have a worry. I guess worry comes when they decide to take selfies and fall off ( like the two most recent incidents here in the states). What a catch on #6, really shows the height of the location. Excellent!!!!

When people climb this rock they are under the influence of faith and so nothing happens smile Selfies kill more people than sharks, nowadays. Thanks for the favs too my friend

Another great series on this location. The flags in #2 near the top of the image are those prayer flags?
