♫♫ Never Smile at a Crocodile ♫♫

The Crocodile

Lewis Carroll - 1832-1898

How doth the little crocodile
Improve his shining tail,
And pour the waters of the Nile
On every golden scale!

How cheerfully he seems to grin,
How neatly spreads his claws,
And welcomes little fishes in,
With gently smiling jaws!

I rather like the Crocs and the peacocks and the beautiful green bird. Crocs are a species that I tend to be paranoid about as odd as it sounds because while I respect the alligator they do not make me as paranoid. Crocs are too tempermental .

Love these creature shots! Peacock looks so regal in #1. My opinion - when shooting things with natural colors when it’s cloudy, like flowers or birds, the colors seem to be deeper, maybe even more intense.

Thank you dear Marsha. I tend to agree with you, but here it was almost dark.

Not as good as they should be if the light was different. Thanks Peter

I promise not to smile at a crocodile, but then again he was after captain cook not :)

Great shots of the peacock,. They have the most amazing colors. too bad it's not easy to capture them on photo when they are fanning out.

And the colors are somewhat faded because the light was so poor. Thanks dear Camellia
