♫♫ Kabukicho ♫♫

Kabukicho

Named after a kabuki theater, whose construction plans have never been realized, Japan's largest red light district features countless restaurants, bars, nightclubs, pachinko parlors, love hotels and a wide variety of red light establishments for all sexes and sexual orientations.

There are lots of Pachinko(game room?) in Kabukicho. I thought it very weird to find people queuing in front of Pachinko early in the morning. Later I learned that there are certain machines in the Pachinko which give better rewards. smile

That's a culture sign that really differentiate this culture from the western one.

Japanese life looks more westernized than other north eastern countries but the way they think is far from any others...

Such great captures Antonio. I have a love night photography with tons of light and you have done a spectacular job with this post. Curios...hand held or tripod?

Awesome set, Antonio. Gotta have to visit Tokyo one day as well, it looks so surreal. I'd made in my pants on seeing that Godzilla guy live. My favourites in this set are #2 for the great composition and #7 - I have never seen a man with a cat on his head before joy

Indeed. I too was awake but acting as a zombie because we hadn't sleep at all during the trip and the first day in Japan. I just wanted a bed. 😀
