She got very serious while I was taking her portrait

ROUND TREE

By Patrick J. Payton

Once there was a round tree.
So perfectly round was he.
At dusk he cast a round shadow
And in afternoon round shade.
His trunk was strong and branches
Made up a beautiful round ball
For his canapé to rest.
He was round like the world,
Round like the sun and moon
And dotted stars at night.
One day it rained.
It rained and rained.
A rain drop landed on his round shoulder
And whispered
I am round too.
Then the drop changed, as she slid away.
She was not round for long thought the tree.
She disappeared.
That was the best day the tree could remember
Out all of his days.
And he slowly began to change.

I love the fastidious nature of the Japanese art work and way of life in general! Lovely musical selection and matching verse! Excellent camera work, as always, You Two!

When you're out of the city buzz it's really peaceful, and it is a very big contrast

Japanese architecture is so clean! Love these images especially the close ups of the little children.
