Hipster?

a poem by Anonymous

I wear glasses to see,
Not to look "cool."
I read books to feel intellectually challenged
And go on adventures to new lands,
Not to take pictures of the pages
On my Nikon camera
And get "notes" on Tumblr.
I drink tea to relax myself,
Not to be like everybody else.
Do all these things make me a hipster?
A poser?
Or *myself?

Love the variety in these, Amigo!
Lovely camera work!
I tried being a Hippy in the 60's.....
Was a Hippy a Pre-Hipster????
Nowadaze, I'm too old, comfortable & lazy to try to be anything but myself, whatever that may be......
Love the poem!

A Hippy is a Hippy and that's it. 😁I'm sure you succeeded. Woodstock, Godspell, Hair and so on forever

While I really like all the photos in this series, I especially like #8. Not only because of the look you captured on the baby, but the fact that it shows how relaxed some of the laws are. In this county you would never see a hairstylist carrying her baby on her back while dyeing someone's hair... a total no no....the fumes of the dye! smile

Different cultures, different laws, different ways of working - that's why I love to travel. Thank you so much dear Camellia
