Fleet Air Arm - This one's for my Dad...

These are all planes used by the Fleet Air Arm which is where my Dad did his militaty service, I know one of them is a Fairey Gannet, not sure what the others are, but I am sure he will know, and there is a Spitfire in the lineup just because I love 'em…

..These are all Fleet Air Arm aeroplanes…

You can tell that because they all have foldey up wings…

..which makes for easy storage on the aircraft carriers…

…and a spitfire… which is not a Fleet Air Arm aeroplane but still one of my Dad's favourites…

      Dad was so pleased with this one, and yes he did know the names of all the planes with their foldy uppie wings.

      Nice set. I believe the others are a Buccaneer (very sleek with huge engines) and a Vampire (twin tails).
