Black thorn blossom

The black thorn trees at the bottom of our garden are blossoming at the moment, and they are wonderful, absolutely covered in delicate white blossom, which will probably all blow away next time the wind blows and they will revert to the gnarly and rather ugly lichen covered thorny trees that they are, but for now they are lovely, and hopefully in autumn, we will have a nice healthy crop of sloes to put into our gin…

an aeroplane leaving a trail across the sky… I wonder where it is going, I hope it's somewhere nice!
