Standing Alone

Having some fun with light and shadow!

It is interesting to see how the light shining through a window can have so many different effects on objects of various textures.

I also like to play with editing tools.

The camera is a Kodak EasyShare C310 35mm (equivalent) 4.0 mega pixels very basic.

A lot of shots taken today………..picked five

That's it folks……

Hope you enjoy !

I chose this shot out of the many I had taken from different places in the room. The teacup is made of metal and a mesh covering, silk flowers, glossy tea packets and sitting on a glossy painted surface. The sunlight is shining through the plant that is in front of the window.
I did do a little editing on this one.

The shiny surface on this teapot created a challenge. After many attempts I finally settled for this shot, but still needed to do some editing.

I shot this plant from various angles, this one shows the brightness of the sun shining through the window as well as the light and shadows. I personally like that effect.

No editing on this shot!

The light shining on this wooden surface seems to give a warm ambience to this stool.

This shot was cropped and enlarged.

Direct sunlight showing the shadows of the blinds through the leaves.

I find it interesting.

No editing done on this shot.

What a cheery looking teapot , lovely set you did a good job.
I like the last shot but have you tried cropping off the top leaf , I'm not an expert though.
