Discovered the biggest wasp nest I have ever seen! I'm happy there was no one home……hahaha buzzzzzzz

      I found one of these in a tree the other day...very large...my parents also have an empty one on display in their home ;)

      Art, That thing is "Huge" , Great shots and it's in great condition. Around here we have several types of wasps, some good , some "Bad", Great Capture !! cd

      So bizarre and fascinating - I've never seen this kind of wasp nest in my life...I know they make a substance that changes into a "paper" like material (by mixing saliva with weathered wood fibers ) - how amazing.
      Sometimes the substance is different and changes into something like cement (by mixing saliva with mud), it depends of the kind of wasps.
      Thanks for showing it, what a great find...and lucky for you it was deserted.
      ...Are you sure is not a mummy's head though ;) ?
