Why?....

by Art Bee December. 17, 2012 7914 views

I have heard this question “Why” many times and I have asked this question myself. Who can answer it and what would the reason be? I have thought about it long and hard
and still my mind does not comprehend “Why”
Making sense where there is no sense and trying to reason where there is no reason. Who is to blame and where do we direct our anger?
In this world of “Political Correctness” and in our quest to please all, we have taken away the very foundation on which our Nation was grounded on….
'WHY'?

It's the failure to recognize mental problems in these young guys and help them..the mom knew he was mentally unstable but yet he had access to all this gun collection of hers..he found out she was about to have him committed and took his anger out on her and those children, the same age she taught..substitute I thing. Gun control is being re-written, no reason to allow semi automatic weapons to be sold to individuals. Also they will have to put police guards at EVERY school..this school had just installed protection two weeks before, however, he was allowed in because they knew him from association with his mother..they thought they did!

I really hope that this terrible tragedy will be the last one - people have to wake up and make changes!

We can only wait and wonder what and when it will happen again because we are stuck in an endless cycle of shock, sadness, resolve and then - nothing more until the next tragedy. It is sadly always just today's news - heart ripping news reports that sensationaize the anguish and horror and historically leads to nothing more but a forgotten event - until the next one.

IMVHO educating and bringing up children is a responsibility which is shared between the parents and the school system. BOTH need to do their part in order to produce morally responsible adults. When kids see conflicting values, it is confusing to them. When children are in (any) religious school, where the philosophy of the parents and the school are in line with each other, I think this is carried out better. I was not brought up in a particularly religious home, and I attended public schools -- but that was in the "olden days." We said the 23rd Psalm every morning, which was considered acceptable (all the kids believed in the Bible in those days,) and we were brought up with a strong moral code. The Golden Rule was the norm. Ummm -- this is not PC today, I know, but teachers who did not live moral lives (and let it be known) were fired. There was even a strict dress code in the public schools. I was sent home once for wearing a skirt 1" above my knees! Bringing some good old moral values back into the school system might be a good place to start, if we want to stop seeing this horrible scenario happening repeatedly. And some serious gun control as well...

I am in great hopes that once my life is at its end and I stand before the gates of my eternity that I will find the answers to all the whys I have ask within my life. For now I recognize that God goes with me regardless of where I go that He is not allowed because he goes in my heart. I have to say that more control is not the answer; but more Responsibility Acceptance is. Were we to treat each person we encounter in a manner that we desire our loved ones to be treated this world would be a beautiful place. I wish you peace in your questions my friend.

Americans haven't enough faith to allow the state to protect, they think they have the right to do it themselves, hence people carry guns. A way must be found to keep guns out of the reach of these people. A change of attitude is required.

A BIG QUESTION and sometimes we just can't find the answers, meanwhile dreadful actions take place all over the world.
