A Different View

Several people could walk in the same place and each have a different view…..
It's interesting how one's perception can vary according their mood, motives or ideals on life….
This place was once a battleground, a mill, a fish farm, a watering hole for wildlife and is now a nature park. It has several endangered species of trees, marshlands and grasses unique to the area and is being threatened by urban development…
Greedy contractors and outside investors have taken away nature's right to live…
Now there is a different view from those with the highest bid who want a better view of……. the nature

Too true. I am having childhood trails excavated at this moment. Great images to go along with the sentiment.

Beautiful, thoughtful shots....and very true words, Artbee....times unfortunately, don't always change for the better.

I like the varied focuses in these, AB. I enjoyed the "near-far" exposures in the first two.

I also love No 4, is that dogwood that is giving the photo a reddish tinge?

I hate the way civilization is encroaching on nature at such a rapid pace these days! wish it could be turned around! Lovely natural spot in these photos! Hope it stays that way!
