It's time to reap the rewards. We planted garlic about a month and a half ago, and now it was ready (a bit over-grown actually). A few chillies and some corriander was ready to be plucked as well. And so the menu was decided.
This is somewhat of a traditional recipe; at least, it's not something I've encountered in any restaurant. Some people make the dish with mince beef, with a bit of the garlic plant. I've even seen a variation with a raw egg on the top. But the recipe my wife follows focuses more on the garlic. It's basically garlic scrambled eggs. That's all there is to it! We added the chilli and a garnish of corriander simply because it was there. This we had with some oven roasted Turkish bread. It was delicious, as always.
