Who else can you turn to when peace is disturbed other than Earth's mighiest superheros.
Brisbane is currently home to the "Creating a Cinematic Universe" exhibit at the Gallery of Modern Art. Artwork, costumes, props, and sets from the Marvel movies are all on show.
The exhibit was packed - although not as busy as I've heard it had been when it first opened about two weeks ago.
What I found interesting was "normal" everything looked. The costumes didn't look as impressive as they do on the big screen. The props on occasion looked like someone had painted over some styrofoam. And yet it is truly remarkable how something so simple can look so amazing when the film is finished.
All in all, a fantastic exhibit to visit on the first day of holidays.
