Well summer may have just finished up in the Northern Hemisphere, but down here we are just getting started. And today was one of those days that demonstrates why Queensland is known as the "Sunshine State".
Tender operations were again in full swing today, since there was no terminal for the cruise ship to pull into.
Once on land we were greeted with magnificent views and gorgeous palm trees.
A short walk through the main street in town took us over to the other side of Port Douglas, leading us to Four Mile Beach - a sight that was definitely worth seeing.
Finally making our way back to the ship we stopped by the shops for a quick drink, but not before spotting this gorgeous water lily in a nearby fountain.
Sadly today would be our last shore excursion before returning to Brisbane. Two more sea days to go!
