About six weeks ago I discovered (in a not so fun way) that I am apparently allergic to almonds.

So yesterday I went to the specialist in order to have a "skin-prick" test, where I was purposefully exposed to almonds and other a variety of other tree nuts to examine the extent of the allergy.

Number one was almond, while number two hazelnut...looks like I'll be avoiding these from now on.

Looks like the diagnosis is almost as bad as the allergy!

They literally expose you to the thing you're allergic too! Only a very small quantity though so the reaction isn't severe.

Worst part is you can't scratch during the test - no matter how itchy it gets!
