It's a very simple and yet very yummy traditional Malaysian/Indonesian delicacy.
This is a type of seashells (some call it simply ‘snails’… please tell me what's the exact English name for it. tq.). It is cooked in coconut milk mixed with some tumeric and added with yam.
To eat the inside part or the flesh of the shell, you will have to suck it out. To enable that, the stern part of the shell has to be cut out before cooking.
It's not escargots in French nor los caracoles in Spanish.
