Join me for breakfast

Breakfast is a MUST to start an energetic new day.
Some say eat and feast like a king for breakfast…
My usual breakfast these days is a piece of ‘roti’ or capati eaten with dhall curd or chicken/ mutton/ fish curry. At times, to add flavour the roti can be added with egg and onion and cut chillies or with canned sardines or with some sugar or milk.
It goes down very well with tea or coffee or any hot drinks.
A piece of roti can make me full till lunch or even until evening tea if I want to skip lunch.
In Malaysia, roti canai (plain roti) or ‘roti boom’ (with sugar or milk added) or ‘roti telur’ (with aegg and onion added) or ‘roti sardin’ (with sardines added) is also eaten for tea breaks and dinner or even supper.

For a change I also take ‘laksa’ or white rice pasta for breakfast. The laksa is served with special fish meat soup with some salads garnish. Some also prefer the laksa soup made from eel.

Both are light breakfast but roti canai is high in calory due to the oil used to prepare and cook it.

Your detailed description makes me want some right now! Sounds delicious, but would fill me up for 'til dinner time! Can't wait to go to Malaysia some day...

Looks like dinner! Breakfast foods vary wildly from place to place and your breakfast looks much delicious than a slice of bread with a cup of coffee.
