A must accompaniment for baryani

Recently after a month-long of fasting from sunrise to sundown Muslims all over the world celebrated Hari Raya Eidulfitri. It not only marked the end of the fasting month of Ramdhan as it also opens an opportunity from friends of all races and religions to join in the joyous occasion.

At my office, every departments took turns to hold their own open house, welcoming friends and colleagues from other departments to delicious s;pread of food. It's an opportunity nobody wants to miss as the open house, a cherished tradition in Malaysian society be it for Eidulfitri, Christmas, Chinese New Year, Deepavali and Gawai, provides the best times to mingle around with everybody present. On any other days everybody is too busy with their daily chores.

Eid Mubarak.

Everything looks good! Love chicken on skewers. Happy times..why do two women not have head covered?

Well, wearing head covers is a matter of personal choice for Muslim women in this country. Religion may compel it but women may wear them or may. not. I can't say much about it as I'm not well versed in it.

Hi DD, Great to see you. I like the changes made to this PB and decided to stay on a while. Just don't wanna lose the numerous friendships, great friends that have added colours to my 8 years here.

As for food... I love to eat and I always look for delicious angles (if there's any such term?). But these days I always keep the portion small, sometimes just a bite or two. With age...Can't give in too much to temptation anymore.

As for next celebration, I would love to host you should you really want to come over to Kuala Lumpur or Jakarta.

Many thanks for surfing by. BTW I have opened up a free account on the story telling apps 'steller'. @bernamamny. It's quite like digital flip book and can accomodate lots of pix and text and videos too. Surf by me in your free time ya.

What a hopeful and glorious series! Life's too short to fuss & fight.....Let's all just celebrate life as members of the human race, above all other distinctions! Thank You!

Very well said, my friend.I couldn't agree more. We're all one big human race. God the Almighty made us different just so we enjoy getting to know each other.
Many thanks. Have a great day.
