Breakfast re-do

My third attempt. Failed this one, I'll give up... I will remember to key in the tag first immediately after the story and before uploading pix.

In my hometown, a small village... there are quite a number of very traditional breakfast treats. This is one of my favourites during my growing up years. It's a very welcomed change from the usual bread and butter and sandwich and soft boiled eggs or even coconut milk rice with all the beef or mutton rendangs. But, fried chicken with some turmeric powder and chilli coating is of course very much welcomed at every breakfast.

It would be interesting to know what my PB friends are usually having for breakfast.

tapioca

steamed tapioca with salted fish is quite a breakfast treat

fried chicken

always welcomed

The salted fish is making my mouth water!
Unfortunately, I don't eat anything "regular" for breakfast. I grab whatever's available - if I have time, I'll cook, if not, I'll eat leftovers from last night's dinner - but always with a cup of coffee!

Fascinating! I love everything about the foods of different cultures! One of my favorite shows on TV is on the Food Network named Bizarre Foods, in which the host, Andrew Zimmern travels the world trying foods most of us in the US would find very unusual....Nice camera work!

Hi there! Thank goodness my dear friend as we both share the same fav TV prog. I like Andrew Zimmern prog too. I must admit though that his choice of bizarre food is truly bizarre...most of which I dare not even think of trying.
Thanks for surfing by and have a great day ahead.
