Tunisian Travelogue Part 1. TUNIS

Tunis, the capital.
Avenue de France, leading to the East entrance of the old town, the medina.

In the souks (shops) of the medina.

Cafes are places you can find even in the smallest villages of the country. It is a man's world there, however, about 99% of patrons are men in these places. These guys are enjoying their water pipes in the afternoon. Men in Tunisia seem to enjoy chatting with each other almost as much as women do in other parts of the world.

Tunis is the part I missed, unfortunately. But the "chichas" (waterpipes) are everywhere!

Nagyon jó életképek!!! Szívesen visszamennék én is és újra fotóznám a régi helyszíneket!

Are you on a vacation??!! What a wonderful place... although the male dominated society wouldn't work for me... I like being out with my friends too! :-)
