Elegy

“Far from the madding crowd's ignoble strife,
Their sober wishes never learn'd to stray;
Along the cool sequester'd vale of life
They kept the noiseless tenour of their way.”
Thomas Gray: Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard

      Agi, I remember having to memorize the "elegy" when I was in high school. What a nice piece to use with such a poignant post. Did you ever read Emily Dickinson's "The Bustle in a House"? It reminds me of your post today.

      The first two are really nicely done, Agi... and it seems a lovely "old" cemetery?
