A Saturday With Olivia

Olivia is a daughter of a friend of mine. She has just finished third grade with flying colors. This morning we went to the Dixon Museum together. She posed for me in the garden, taking her job as a model very seriously.

I caught her unawares watching the tadpoles next to the frog fountain.

The exhibition featured interesting glass objects from the studio glass movement. Unfortunately photography was not encouraged in there, to put it mildly.

Somehow my camera just happened to go off accidentally, in front of this twin piece.

After all the excitement of the museum, Olivia enjoyed a well deserved afternoon in the pool. It was 115 degrees. (And my shoulders feel it in the evening…) It was a lovely day!

I love the photos of the glass! Glad you were able to get a photo, I have gotten in trouble of few time myself taking photos.

Nice set, Agi! Olivia looks very mature for a third grader, just off to fourth grade, but she did a great job modeling! ( I taught 3rd grade for several years.) Love the glass, you sneaky little lady! Funny how those cameras just go off by themselves sometimes!
