Sweet Fragrance

by Agnes Felber May. 09, 2011 3670 views

I forgot the name of this very common bush that is in full bloom at this time of year in Memphis. It is an unassuming plant, lives mostly in the wild, and has an extremely sweet, strong fragrance . The one at the back wall in our yard gives enough fragrance so I can smell it even inside the house… Can anyone help me jog my memory about the name?

Looks like it's related to the lilac, but I really have no idea. Lovely shots of it though!
